wet, and every trade has to land in the right order. It is also the room where sloppy work shows
first — a tile line that drifts, a niche that is not centred, a shower floor that holds water.
Timberland Construction is a finish-carpentry outfit that remodels bathrooms. That order matters.

A Recent Master Suite Project
Large-format marble-look porcelain, run floor to ceiling rather than stopped at a border. A freestanding soaking tub under the window with a floor-mounted filler. The shower has a built-in bench, two corner niches, and three outlets — a rain head, a wall head and a handheld on a slide bar — so two people are not fighting over one spray. Mosaic tile on the shower floor for grip and fall.
The Master Suite Package
Most companies quote the bathroom and stop. If the closet backs onto the same wall — and in most Michigan ranch and colonial layouts, it does. Doing both at once means one demolition, one inspection, one crew, one mess. It is also usually cheaper than the two jobs separately, and it is finished in one run rather than two.
What We Do
Full Bathroom Remodels
Down to the studs where it needs to be: framing, plumbing rough-in, electrical, waterproofing,
tile, fixtures, cabinetry and trim.
Walk-In and Tile Showers
Curbed or curbless, bench seats, niches, linear or centre drains, frameless glass. Waterproofing
is done properly and it is the part you will never see.
Master and Ensuite Baths
Double vanities, freestanding tubs, separate water closets, heated floors.
Guest and Hall Baths
Smaller, faster, and usually the best value per pound spent if you are selling.
Accessibility
Curbless showers, grab-bar blocking set in the wall, comfort-height fixtures, wider doorways.
What It Costs and What Drives It
A guest bath refresh — new vanity, toilet, floor and a tub surround — sits at the lower end. A full master suite like the one above, with large-format tile to the ceiling, a freestanding tub and a three-outlet shower, sits well above it.
What actually moves the number: whether plumbing moves, tile size and layout, whether the shower is curbless, glass, and the cabinetry. Labor on large-format tile is higher than people expect because the substrate has to be flatter.
We quote in writing with the fixture allowances broken out, so you can see what a choice costs before you make it.
How Long It Takes
A guest bath is usually one to two weeks. A full master suite with a tiled shower runs three to five, mostly waiting on inspections and waterproofing cure times. We tell you at the quote which days you will be without that bathroom.
